ü  Formation process

By the way what is morphome is ? Have you ever heard before guys ? Oke.. let me tell you! Morphome is the smallest meaningful unit consist of word that can not be devided into smaller meaningful parts. We put morphome as the lower range on the word.

Do you know that morphome has variants and those variants are called by allomorphs. Allomorph is a changing of sound without change the meaning.  For the example book becomes books by adding ‘s’ and being plural. Plural can be pronounce by three alternate: /s/, /É™z/, and /z/. The pronouce of /s/ occurs of after the noun ending on voiceless consonant. Example: cat, desk, book, chalk, etc. The pronounce of /É™z/ occurs of after the noun ends in any one of these consonant /tʃ, dÊ’, s, z, ʃ, Ê’/. Example horse, buzz, brush, catch, judge, garage etc. The pronounce of /z/ occurs of after the noun ending on consonant and before the consonant is vowel. Example: dog, pencil, chair, pen, etc.
